Remember When - August 27, 1994 "I Do"

Today, we celebrate our love for each other. We are grateful for being able to share 14 beautiful years together. Our love has grown stronger and deeper through the years. One of our wedding songs was Nobody Loves Me Like You Do and the words still mean as much to us today as they did then. We look forward to making many more memories together and are anxious to see what the future has in store for us. Please say a prayer for us today to celebrate our marriage and our love!

Hurricane Fay - Mini Vacation from School

We always enjoy the opportunity to spend time together. The kids and I enjoyed our two days off from school; playing in the rain, sleeping in, baking cookies, watching movies, etc. However, Ryan worked non-stop from 6 am to 11 pm daily. He was extremely busy with the electric company and now has to catch up on his tree business. He loves it though and is looking forward to putting his paycheck away for the upcoming holidays. We are thankful for this extra time we had to share with each other and that Ryan returned home safely.

First Day of School 2008

Another year of school is already upon us. Nolan is in the fourth grade. His teacher is Mrs. Strassberger. Haley is in the second grade and she has two teachers Mrs. Austin and Mrs. Austin. I am truly blessed because I get to be a part of their school life everyday. I see them several times throughout the day and always welcome their smiles, hugs, and kisses. It makes my job a lot easier having them close by.

Camp was a Blast

Nolan and Haley attended day camp for the first time this summer. They enjoyed the face painting, campfires, rock climbing, swimming, and the zip line. They can't wait to go back next summer.

The Beginning to an End - Congratulations MOM!

Today is my mom's last first day of school. My mom went to work at the school when I started kindergarten back in 1976. She has worn many hats through the years. She worked in the cafeteria, the clinic, the library, and the office. She worked at both the elementary and the high school. She will be retiring at the end of this school year. I am blessed to have such an amazing mom, a great friend, and a loving & involved parent. She has always been there for all of us and remains active in our daily lives. She has taught us to endure all pain with faith and to live each day as it comes, taking it one day at a time. If I can be half the mom that she is, my children will be more than blessed. Enjoy everyday mom as you begin the last chapter of your career. I Love You!

Mama Mia

I had the wonderful opportunity of going to see this musical with my mom and sister. We really enjoyed this chick flick and would recommend it to anyone who wants to laugh and feel good! It's worth your time.

College Football is Almost Here

Cody so proudly delivered Nolan an FSU jersey to prepare for the upcoming season. They can hardly wait for the games to begin. Don't be surprised to see Nolan in both FSU and Gator jerseys. We are a mixed marriage so Nolan is constantly saying, he's going to be a fan for both teams. Thanks Cody!

Carefree Days are Almost Over

As summer break comes to a close, we make one of our last efforts to spend quality time together with the Loose Family at Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum and the beach. The kids really enjoyed the museum as they could not believe some of the things they were discovering. It really challenged their thoughts and opened up many questions. Then we headed over to the beach for the afternoon. It was so NICE that our kids are finally responsible enough to play without us in the ocean. Of course we told them to stay waist deep only as we sat close by. It was a beautiful day full of fun.
