In this Crazy Life

Everyday I wake up and think , " I wonder what will happen in in our crazy lives today." Sadly, our schools received the disappointing news of a huge budget cut. Unfortunately, people's lives will be affected. This concerns me. I have always prayed that I would have a melting heart of compassion for others and a desire to help those less fortunate. I am hoping the beauty will shine quickly after the rain for all who will endure this economic crisis.

Thank You Ryan, Nolan, and Haley for being my "Everything" in this crazy life! I added our song to the play list to encourage smiles of peace!

Nolan's 10th Birthday Sports Sleepover

Unbelievable! Our precious son is ten! We decided to go all out and let him plan the party. He quickly thought a sleepover would be cool. He wanted to take all of his friends to Little Rain Lake Park and have a football game, a soccer game, a basketball free throw competition, a game of man hunt on the playground at dark, pizza for dinner, a baseball cake, a campfire for roasting marshmallows or making s'mores, roasting hot dogs, a movie ( Facing the Giants), trampoline and pogo fun, and a camp out in the the backyard sleeping in the tent. Remarkable Nolan! It actually all worked out and the weather even cooperated. The most popular and almost comical gift was the 2008 Gator National Championship Shirt, because he received five of them. If his friends have any influence on whether or not he'll be a Gator fan or FSU fan, the Gators will definitely capture his heart.
Happy 10th Celebrating!
