Nolan's Last First Day of KHE

WOW, how the time really passes by. This is Nolan starting his last first day at KHE. I can't believe 6th grade is finally here. What a different year it is going to be though. Nolan is attending school for Math, Safety Patrol, News Team, Specials, and Recess. He is being home schooled for Reading, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. It has been a wonderful experience so far and we all seem to be adjusting well. My nephew Cody and his wife Stacy have opened up their home to Nolan each morning so he can attend News Team, then be with them and complete his Spelling assignments. He then returns to school for Computer, P.E., Music, and Library. My mom and dad have him each day, during the day, for Science and S.S. A special time with Nana and Papa each day. Then he returns to school for Math and Safety Patrol. He and I complete his Reading and Language Arts activities at night. It has been a wonderful experience for me as a teacher and a mom. We have really enjoyed the one on one time together. Nolan is such a hard-working, responsible young man who is always excited about life. He gives his best all the time! That is why we dedicated the song to him as a baby, "With Arms Wide Open," by Creed. This song was dedicated to Nolan for all the days ahead when new doors open and bring us change. We will always show Nolan this life with Arms Wide Open!
Nolan only wanted one picture though.
He is becoming more opinionated
about these pictures I want to take.
