One Door Closes and Another Door Opens...

It's official, mom is retired. The lights went out, the door was closed, the keys turned in, emotions kicked in, and retirement begins. Just remember mom...

Ecclesiastes 3 : 1 - 13

"There is a right time for everything: A time to be born, a time to die; A time to plant; A time to harvest; A time to kill; A time to heal; A time to destroy; A time to rebuild; A time to cry; A time to laugh; A time to grieve; A time to dance; A time for scattering stones; A time for gathering stones; A time to hug; A time not to hug; A time to find; A time to lose; A time for keeping; A time for throwing away; a time to tear; A time for repair; A time to be quiet; A time to speak up; A time for loving; A time for hating; A time for war; A time for peace.

What does one really get from hard work? I have thought about this in connection with all various kinds of work God has given to mankind. Everything is appropriate in its own time. But though God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, even so, man can not see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end. So I conclude that, first, there is nothing better than for a man to be happy and to enjoy himself for as long as he can; and second, that he should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of his labors, for these are gifts from God. "

It's finally your time mom! Enjoy every minute. You deserve nothing but the best.

Photos taken on the Saint John's River in Palatka at one of mom's favorite restaurants, Corkey Bells.

Can you spot the two baby gators that dined beside us?
It feels like home here since we grew up with lots of gators on Grandin Lake.

Destination Daytona

Looking forward to making memories here at ...
The Wave Pool
The Twin Flumes

The kids loved the big bucket dumping once it was filled.

The Family Flume

We could all four ride together!

Super Cool and Definitely Dark

Nolan and Haley

Three Flumes
Two open slides, One tunnel slide
Allowed to ride doubles - love it!

Ryan and I would ride together first so we
would be ready to snap the photo!

Nolan is to the far left.
Haley is next to Nolan.
The race is on!
All four of us could race at the same time too!
We are loving all of these bonding moments, catch them while you can, right?
Celena won the family race and Nolan won the kid race.

Ryan was the judge watching to see who came in first!

The Lazy River

Putt- Putt during the rain storm
Walk across the street and you are at the beach!

The beach with a Starbucks, I'm sold!

The price was amazing, only $20 per person as a Florida resident. There is so much more you can do if you want. There is go-kart racing, lazer tag, skeet ball, the high swing, and an enormous arcade.

A great place to bring out the young in all of us!
